Stylist Donna created "Talula for hair" in August of 2005 so her clients could enjoy a clean and relaxing atmosphere when having their hair done while also giving her a pleasant place to do her styling work. As a seasoned stylist for 30+ years her talents include cutting , coloring, perms and human hair extension application. Her blow dry styles are exceptional according to her clients and they dare her to ever mention retirement. She started her career in 1969 after graduating from Star Beauty Academy and continued her education in the hair field throughout the years by attending various classes and shows. Her first job was at one of the very best salons in Baltimore, Carl Intercoiffure on St. Paul Street. Other salons include Garfinkels "Salon Jean Paul" in Washington, DC, Landover and Annapolis, Flashback Salon in Georgtown, Christopher Michaels in Annapolis and the Studio Salon in Annapolis. The concept that she chose for this salon is one that will give motivated stylists a way to manage their own careers by working as an independent contractor. |

Kelly started her beauty career 26 years ago in Virginia Beach. After 9 years of perfecting her skills she moved here and worked at a top salon in West Annapolis styling some of the areas finest residents. In 2005 she became an independent contractor and joined Donna at "Talula for hair". Her techniques in dimensional coloring are top notch and have made her one of the towns most sought after stylists. |

Brooke's passion for beauty started 11 years ago. Her dedication to cultivating her talent is evident in her work.
She is a dedicated associate of "Talula for hair". She began as a shampoo technician, working her way up apprenticing under Donna, and is now one of our certified stylists, excelling in creative dimensional color, manicuring, make-up artistry and is skilled with hair extensions.
Brooke also assists in the shampoo training program. |

Sherri Bramlett |

Stylist
Sherri has more than 30 years experience in hair design for salon, theater, television and motion picture production. She has mastered her cutting and styling skills at top salons in Washington DC, then expanded her horizons by accepting a hair dressing position on the National Tour of Broadway's, "42nd Street".
That experience led to similar styling gigs for "Cats", "Les Miserables" and "Guys and Dolls". Ultimately, Hollywood came knocking and Sherri's hair creations were featured on Barry Levinson's, "Homicide: Life on the Street", "West Wing", "Chicago Hope" and HBO's "John Adams".
Her motion picture credits include, "In the Line of Fire", "Washington Square", "Evan Almighty" and "Invasion". Sherri has styled hair for many TV and movie celebrities including Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Stockard Channing, John Goodman, Geena Davis, Jesse Bradford and Allison Janney.
Sherri is thrilled to be a hair designer at "Talula for hair". She looks forward to meeting and styling hair for the "stars" of Annapolis. |

Esthetician After retiring from a corporate job in San Francisco, Joan Gleason decided to downsize her life style, so she and her husband moved to Annapolis. Unable to find the style of facials she enjoyed on the West Coast, she decided to do them herself on the East. Joan has been a licensed esthetician since 2004. In 2005 her facial was voted Best of Annapolis in “What’s Up! Annapolis.” Her clients enjoy complete relaxation and optimum skin care. Joan avoids harsh chemical and mechanical products and practices, using only the finest organics available. The Ytsara products used are a rare combination of herbs, roots, flowers and fruits that are indigenous to Thailand/Southeast Asia, and are either cultivated on their own organic farms or picked fresh from the forest. Apprentice/Shampoo Technician
Lillie is a recent addition to the Talula team. She is currently starting her cosmotology experience with an apprenticeship under Donna. She also contributes to the salon as one of the shampoo assistants. Lillie has always had a growing interest in pursuing a career in the world of cosmotology. She is extremely interested in learning coloring and cutting techniques and aquiring the experience to excel in the profession. In the summer of 2010, the knowledge gained at Talula will lead her to be a skilled stylist and dedicated professional. |

Ashley Dombrowski |

Stylist Ashley is the newest member of Talula for Hair. She hales from Midland , Michigan and is one class away from being a certified colorist. Since childhood and on through her teenage years, her passion for cosmetology grew. She has great people skills and enjoys the service industry. Ashley is very excited about starting her new career , and is optimistic about her future here at Talula. |
